style inspiration: feist

this weekend i was in nyc having a great time visiting friends.  on sunday night, i went to a concert for Dark Was The Night, a compilation album that supports AIDS prevention by Red Hot Organization.  please check it out.  anyway, as part of that concert, Feist performed a few songs.  i realized when she was up there singing away that she has great style!  last night she was wearing a sheer white blouse, some boyfriend jeans and heels – cute!  here are a few pictures of her from her website:

feist

as you could see, her style consists of pretty organic, natural colors with a lot of blouses and jeans. i don’t know where Feist shops, but i just looked around for clothes from some indie designers that seem to fit her style – check them out:

Quail: a british clothing line made from organic cotton, fair trade cotton and recycled fabrics

Stewart + Brown: an LA based line from a husband and wife team inspired by their love and respect for nature and passion for design

larimeloom: an italian clothing line made of handspun, handsewn or handwoven natural fibers.  (i own a shrug from larimeloom and love it!)
