fusion (dessert): royal key and horn rosary necklace by Poison Apple

yesterday was my birthday – yay!  and it was the first year that i went back a year in age instead of forward, so i’m still in my mid-20s!  i came across some amazing, electic jewerly by Poison Apple the other day and fell in love with one of the necklaces.  like a lot of the jewelry from this line, the necklace has a collection of vintage items hanging from it like a gold key and mother of pearl horn – pretty.  i’m thinking of buying it for myself as a birthday present to me – what do you think?

dessert (american): charles street earrings by adjewelry

named after a street in boston, these beautiful earrings are handmade by anne from adjewelry.  they are made of blue lapis stones and fresh water pearls, which hang off gold vermeil rings.  adjewelry has a bunch of other equally stunning earrings, necklaces and bracelets in the shop.  and i’ll have to say, being from boston, i love that the collection has many fun pieces named after places in new england like “pickering wharf necklace” and “copley earrings.”

dessert (gastropub): fun scarves by missindie

it’s getting cold outside again (at least it is up here in boston)!  i was going to just feature the colorful granny scarf, but then i saw the san francisco sky scarf, and the button scarf and couldn’t decide on just one – so i’m featuring all three!  these scarves are all handmade, by missindie, a 19 year old girl who loves to crochet and is clearly very talented at it.

dessert (fusion): the necklush

i love this!  when i was searching around looking for the next great find for this site, the necklush totally caught my eye.  it’s so unique!  it’s a scarf, necklace, whatever you come up with depending how you wear it.  it’s made of free-form cotton loops and will keep you warm, while making a statement that stands out from all the traditional scarves everyone is wearing around this winter.
